1. Hyphen (-)

• Length: Shortest of the three.
• Use: Connects words or parts of words.
• Examples:
  • well-known
  • part-time
  • self-driven

📌 Tip: It’s commonly used in compound words or to break words at the end of a line.

2. En Dash (–)

• Length: Medium length (the width of the letter “n”).
• Use: Shows a range or connection.
• Examples:
  • 2020–2025 (means from 2020 to 2025)
  • India–Pakistan border
  • Monday–Friday
