1. Hyphen (-)
- Length: Shortest of the three.
- Use: Connects words or parts of words.
- Examples:
- well-known

- self-driven
📌 Tip: It’s commonly used in compound words or to break words at the end of a line.
2. En Dash (–)
- Length: Medium length (the width of the letter “n”).
- Use: Shows a range or connection.
- Examples:
- 2020–2025 (means from 2020 to 2025)
- India–Pakistan border
- Monday–Friday
